Widening Access to Biomedical Research: A Useful Collaboration

In what seems to be a useful collaboration, JISC and Collexis have developed an online resource Collexis, Expert Profiling, to enable users to quickly identify experts within their institute and abroad.

The system enables subscribing institutions to create expert profiles, of investigators, researchers and departments using the researchers? publications from a variety of sources to disseminate research and biomedical advances. The site will allow users to find what is being published in a particular area and by whom. The site will be available on a subscription bases to all UK Universities and Research Council Institutions.
