As many of you will have read, there are fears that the British Library will face cuts in the coming Spending Review, and it has produced a briefing note setting out what the implications would be. It has set up a forum for supporters to keep everyone informed and engaged with developments. It is also asking supporters to write to supporters_forum@bl.uk  to say why the British Library is important to them, and to give permission to use what they say to help make the case to Government.

There is also a petition on the new e-petitions service on the 10 Downing Street website. It would be good if it were to receive a large number of signatures.
