The data imperative: libraries and research data workshop

This workshop looked at the outcomes from the recent UK Research Data Service feasibility study, and explored some of the workforce and skills issues relating to research data management as they affect libraries.

Hosted by the Oxford e-Research Centre and organised by the RLUK/SCONUL Task Force on e-research with support from the RIN, the event was aimed at subject librarians, e-resource and repository managers, and research support librarians (and anyone else in academic libraries with an interest in research data).
