Learned societies and research information - arts, humanities and social sciences

Location: Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Regent's Park, London

This event aimed to develop our work with learned and professional socieites in the arts, humanities and social sciences and to demonstrate ways to improve information services for researchers.

The aim of the event was to discuss with representatives of learned societies how we might help them and their communities they represent to:

  • develop an awareness and understanding of key issues relating to research information and data, both published and unpublished;
  • develop guidance and advice for their own research communities;
  • influence the agenda of the RIN and other agencies;
  • become acquainted with policy and practice in different learned societies and other bodies
