How and why researchers publish and disseminate their work: new RIN project

Added by Sarah on 23 September 2008 13:08

The RIN is looking to fund a study on the motivations, incentives and constraints that lead researchers to publish and disseminate the results of their work in different ways.

The project will also look at how and why they cite other researchers? work; and whether and how their decisions are influenced by considerations arising from research assessment.

Expressions of interest are being sought from interested research groups and consultancies; the deadline for responses is 10 October 2008. For more information, visit our project page.
