Researcher management of compliance with funder access policies

A new feature now available from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in the USA facilitates the management of publication compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy.

Users are able to see whether their publications are compliant with the Policy, start the manuscript submission process, associate their NIH extramural awards with their publications, and designate delegates to manage their bibliography via the organization’s ‘My NCBI’ facility. This may be of interest to institutions who are looking to collaborate in providing features to assist their researchers in this kind of discovery where they may be uncertain as to how they can confirm they are meeting funding criteria.
