In 2010, this Working Group has published their initial set of practical recommendations for the timely exchange of accurate metadata between content providers and knowledge base developers

 KBART refers to the KBART: Knowledge Bases And Related Tools Working Group, including UKSG and NISO. . Such information applies to the enhancement of the user experience as inconsistent or incorrect metadata results in dead or misdirected links, so frustrating students, academics and researchers. UKSG and NISO announced in June 2010 that the American Institute of Physics, Ex Libris, OCLC and Serials Solutions were the first organizations to publicly endorse the Phase I recommendations of the KBART (Knowledge Bases And Related Tools) Working Group.
