- Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) - international trade association for not-for-profit publishers and those who work with them
- International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM) - broad organisation which includes large and small companies, not for profit organisations and learned societies, traditional primary and secondary publishers and others
- JISC Collections ? aims to support UK education and research by delivering affordable, relevant and sustainable online content
- Knowledgespeak - news service for the STM publishing community. The service also offers executive interviews, news blogs and an events calendar
- Mary Waltham Publishing briefs - provide brief case histories with related publishing questions for use with publications staff or committees as a mechanism for exploring the issues raised for many small and medium-sized publishers
- Publishers Association - trade organisation serving book, journal and electronic publishers in the UK
- Publisher’s Weekly - offers daily roundup of book and publishing news from across the web.
- Publishing Research Consortium (PRC) - group of associations and publishers, which supports global research into scholarly communication in order to enable evidence-based discussion
