- Angel Productions - videos to support and develop the skills of doctoral students (partnership between Angel Productions and Birkbeck, University of London)
- Career Development Organisation (CRAC) - an independent, national organisation dedicated to supporting career development and active, career related learning
- Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) researcher development initiative section - supports the training and development of researchers in the social sciences at all stages of their career
- Generic Skills Dundee - aimed at Dundee students, but has useful events and links sections
- Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) researcher development section - resources for NERC-funded early career researchers
- Jorum - JISC-funded free online service providing access to teaching and learning resources, for teaching and support staff in UK further and higher education institutions
- Research Councils UK Research Careers and Diversity Unit - aims to build on the Research Councils’ investments in training and fellowships by strengthening the skills base and by leading and influencing the skills agenda. It works alongside the seven Councils to deliver the five aims of the RCUK Research Careers Strategy
